Introducing Chicago’s Hometown Bloom: The Magnificent Mile Tulip!
Clarence Davids & Company was the first landscape contractor in the world to plant the new tulip variety. This tulip has silky rich, yellow petals with a tangerine orange blush, bordered by a thin, soft red edge. As these stunning blooms mature, their colors intensify. The tulips are incredibly beautiful from bloom to final flourish.
We partnered with The Magnificent Mile Association to plant the tulips at 625 N. Michigan Avenue. The tulip was officially baptized with champagne by the Consul General of The Kingdom of The Netherlands on April 17, 2024. Stop by The Magnificent Mile and see our beautiful work!
