Investing In The Future

NetSuite Business Management System

In August, Clarence Davids & Company made a strategic investment decision acquiring rights to use NetSuite, a comprehensive cloud-based business management system including customer data management, operational planning, and financial reporting.

Use of a subscription platform tool ensures we will always have the most up to date version of the software eliminating the obsolescence problem that comes with purchasing software to own.

Our clients will incur many benefits as we fully integrate NetSuite into our business. Some of the benefits to be gained are:
     • One database for all client information from acquisition through billing
     • NetSuite email feature captures communications with clients ensuring whoever looks up the client record will know what has been communicated and when
     • Proposals and invoices will be created in the same system eliminating double data entry and risk of data entry errors
     • Proposals will be linked to a billing schedule simplifying the setup process for invoicing
     • System calculated monthly billing amounts eliminating manual calculations
     • Automated billing of contracts aligned to specific contract terms per proposals
     • NetSuite app for phones and tablets that allows sales and operations team members to have client information available in the field

We successfully launched NetSuite financials on February 1st, thanks to the focused efforts of several members of the Clarence Davids team. Following the financial launch, we completed training for our sales team who will begin drafting new proposals and renewals for our current and future clients in NetSuite.

The leadership team is grateful for the efforts of all our project team members who helped in the evaluation, selection and testing of NetSuite. Special thanks to Mark Donahue, Kim Janke, Katie Maguire, Alan Watkins, and Andy Tourlas who drove the NetSuite development, implementation, and transition for without their efforts we would not have launched NetSuite on time and with such success.
