40 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Sam Martin, Vice President of Sales – Matteson
Sam began his career with us right after graduating from The University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign with his Bachelor of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture. Sam was one of our first account representatives. He jumped in feet first with Mr. Davids Sr. as his mentor. They teamed up to secure many of our largest accounts, many that are still with us today. Sam has great retention percentage of his maintenance accounts because he learned early how to provide service to his clients to the max! Congratulations on well deserved 40 years!

Carol Klimowski, Accounts Receivable – Matteson
Carol has single handedly for all her years at Clarence Davids & Co. been the backbone of the accounts receivable department. She has mastered the majority of our billing for many years with just recently enjoying help from others. Carol started with us just after having twin daughters who now are all grown up and have success in becoming a doctor and veterinarian. Proud accomplishments all around.
Kurt Pflederer, Vice President of Design – Plainfield
Congratulations to Kurt who is celebrating his 35th year with us. Kurt is the Vice President of Design and is one of our top sales representatives. Victor Verduzco, Lawncare Foreman – Matteson
We are blessed to have such a veteran employee. He does all our lawncare application to all of our Matteson accounts, along with insecticide sprays and deep root fertilizing. His knowledge is an integral part on keeping our properties lawns and plants healthy.
Jose Nava, Senior Mechanic- Plainfield
Jose brings 30 years of experience and dedication to the Plainfield garage. He oversees and plays a key role in maintaining and keeping our fleet of equipment and trucks in operation. Thank you, Jose! Congratulations!

Alberto Ayala, Maintenance Foreman – Ingleside
Alberto is a maintenance foreman who has been at the north branch since it opened. He always goes above and beyond daily to help us achieve our goals. His leadership always pays off. Thank you for all your hard work and amazing work ethic.
John Huiner, Landscape Production Manager- Matteson
John’s family went to our church and I knew his father and family well. John began with us right out of high school. He worked as a lawncare applicator out of Plainfield and then at our Matteson office. John was promoted to our production manager in Matteson to lead our landscape division. John has been a blessing to us overseeing our day-to-day landscape operations.
Julian Roman, Maintenance Crew Member – Ingleside
Julian is a hard worker and is always willing to help the team. We appreciate his determination and dedication to Clarence Davids & Co. He is an inspiration to others because of his positive attitude. Congratulations!
Salvador Verduzco, Lawncare Foreman – Matteson
Salvador is a key foreman with Clarence Davids & Co. that has his lawncare applicators license which allows him to control the weeds at non-crop areas at BP Amoco at Whiting Refinery in Indiana. He is diligent and always safety conscious. Congrats on 25 years.
