Clarence Davids & Company is only two years away from celebrating our 70th anniversary! Over seven decades, we have seen “a lot” of growth in our people, our industry and our business.
Just before Christmas we celebrated the retirement of Jose M. Munoz. Jose, a maintenance project manger in our Plainfield office, had been with us for 31 years. We paid tribute to him and many of his coworkers came forward to speak of how thankful they were for his support and guidance over those years. We then gathered together and prayed with him for his retirement. It was a very memorable experience for all of us.
In late summer, we celebrated the life of Daniel Olaguez. Daniel was a maintenance foreman in our Matteson location. This year he would have celebrated 35 years with Clarence Davids & Company. Daniel was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and died shortly after his treatments. Many of his coworkers supported the family at the funeral and there were many Clarence Davids & Company trucks in the procession including Daniel’s. It was very moving. We are still planning on celebrating his 35th anniversary at our fall safety meeting and will be presenting his wife and family with his gift.
This past fall, we were excited to have four simultaneous roof top projects in progress, a Clarence Davids first. We are very proud of our crews and staff who participated!
We thank you for participating with our team to beautify and enhance your properties. Our clients are such a blessing to our team! We look forward with you all to the 2019 landscaping season.
