Clarence Davids & Company is proud to have so many long-term employees. It is because of the commitment of our staff that we are able to be a consistent leader in the landscape industry. Below are some comments from Bill Davids regarding each employee celebrating an anniversary this year.
40 Years
Roberto Zermeno is a maintenance crew member at our Fox Valley office and is celebrating an amazing 40 years of service! Roberto’s knowledge, his commitment to his job and hard work has been invaluable in the maintenance department. Thank you Roberto for 40 years of service!
35 Years
Rafael Alvarez serves as a Maintenance Production Manager in the Matteson office. Rafael manages many crews, foreman, and laborers with respect and promotes a high level of excellence from each one of them. Rafael has helped us build a solid and dependable team of motivated maintenance team members. Rafael also manages the maintenance and repair to all of our trucks, trailers, and equipment.
Primitivo Garcia has been a dedicated employee for 35 years. Starting at our Blue Island office, Primi has worked various positions, including landscape foreman. He is currently the delivery guy for the Fox Valley landscape department. Primi sets the standards for all employees to strive for.
Julio Mora has served as a Landscape Production Manager for more than twenty years. Julio enjoys serving our clients’ landscape needs by providing excellence in each landscape project. With his years of experience, he makes each project run more efficiently with good communication. We praise God with Julio that in 2016, he received an organ transplant and is doing very well.
30 Years
Brian McAnally is the Landscape Maintenance and Lawn Care Manager for our Fox Valley Office. Along with overseeing these two departments, Brian is also heavily involved with our snow removal services and is a member of our Safety Committee. We are very thankful for Brian’s dedication, hard work, and the leadership he brings to Clarence Davids & Company.
Fortino Moreno has been a landscape foreman at the Fox Valley location for nearly his entire career. Specializing in large scale hardscape projects, Fortino has the talent and experience to work on any landscape project. He knows his stuff and it shows! His detail and expertise in the landscape construction division is unprecedented.
25 Years
Stephen Borden, a University of Illinois graduate, is one of our most enthusiastic senior sales representatives. For 25 years, Stephen has utilized high energy, positive attitude and love for landscaping to service the needs of many of our top clients. Not only has Stephen help expand our holiday decoration division, he has also headed up the prestigious U.S. Open Men’s Golf Championship account for the past fifteen years. Stephen’s keen design ability and desire to make his clients happy has been a huge asset to our success.
Tim Hoskins is an account representative in our Fox Valley office and is celebrating 25 years with us. Tim has consistently been one of our top sales representatives. His background in landscape architecture has been an asset in creating unique landscapes and his attention to detail is appreciated by all of his customers. Thanks Tim for 25 great years!
Dave Julien is our Landscape Production Manager for our Fox Valley office and is celebrating 25 years. Dave’s responsibilities include the overseeing of all landscape and flower installations for the Fox Valley office and is also a member of our Safety Committee. We are very thankful for Dave’s dedication, his ability to juggle multiple tasks at once, and his commitment to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Thank you, Dave!
Marcos Mejia is our main guy when it comes to tree trimming and removal. Marcos is an energetic foreman who has an expert eye for proper pruning and maintenance. Marcos is dedicated to our company and is always willing to work extra long hours and weekends.
Leopoldo Perez is a quiet, steady worker with a gentle soul. He is our longest working construction laborer in Matteson. He has worked all of the Men’s U.S. Open Golf Championships since 2003. Thank you, Leopoldo. You are a great asset to Clarence Davids & Company!
Erasmo Segoblano works as a landscape foreman in our Fox Valley location. He is a natural stone specialist and always comes up with creative ways to tackle tricky landscape issues. Erasmo is a valuable asset to Fox Valley with his artistic touches that shine especially during flower rotation installations.
Gerardo Valdivia also works as a landscape foreman in our Fox Valley location. He always has a great attitude and infectious laugh that our clients love. “Chili”, as Gerardo is known, is a wizard with outcropping stone installations, but can do it all.
20 Years
Roberto Castel thinks consciously how to do his job safely. He is great at communicating with supervisors, account representatives, and clients. Roberto has the attitude of “give me a project and I’ll get it done efficiently.” Roberto has been the foreman for the Men’s U.S. Open Golf Championship since 2010 and proudly services them well. Thank you for 20 years!
Sergio Fernandez is a landscape laborer and is one of our most consistent, dependable employees within the construction division. Sergio’s hard work attitude makes him a tremendous asset to Clarence Davids & Company.
