In 1951, Clarence Davids Sr. started a landscape company with one truck and the simple goal of providing top-quality workmanship with cost-effective service. He set a precedent with his pioneering approach to landscape maintenance resulting in a reputation as the "Father of Landscape Management."

Clarence Davids and Company has continued to grow in the tradition set before it under the leadership of Bill Davids. The company has since evolved into a full-service company offering landscape design, installation, and management services throughout the Chicago area.
